Permanent Employment

Deputy Director (Commercial) - Shoreditch Town hall

Working for Shoreditch Town Hall, a venue and arts organisation focussed on producing and
supporting new theatre, writing and site specific performances, I was responsible for the delivery of all commercial functions including venue hire, leases, front of house and bars.

Chairman - Camberwell Arts Festival

As Chairman I was responsible for the running of the charity and delivery of the annual visual
arts festival. This meant overseeing budget management, fundraising, community liaison, local authority relationships, curation, volunteer management and operational delivery.

Head of Sales and Marketing - London Borough of Hackney/Hackney Venues

During my time with the London Borough of Hackney I single handedly created the Hackney Venues
brand, drawing together seven venues under one banner and taking them to market, increasing income by over 50% in two years. I also had full operational management of three of the venues.

Board Member - Unique Venues of London

Working for this event and venue hire marketing consortium I had responsibility for web content
management, social media and day-to-day running. The post afforded me the ability to work with some of the best venues, caterers and production companies
in London.

Venue Sales and Marketing Manager - British Museum

At the British Museum I spanned both event management and event sales roles, delivering
amazing corporate events for FTSE 250 companies and developing the business to achieve ambitious income targets.

House Manager - Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for Arts

At Lighthouse, I learned all I know about operational, front of house and event management,
overseeing a 1600 seat auditorium and a 2500 seat concert hall.
